Ponte di Rialto

This bridge has been through 900 years of revolts, floods and renovation!

 The stone arches of the Ponte di Rialto (Rialto Bridge) are supported by 1,200 wooden stakes. It connects the sestiere (districts) of San Marco and San Polo. It is also the oldest of the four bridges that cross the Canal Grande in Venice.
